June 29th, 2009 - Jeff Goodrich

Its been exactly 28 days since my last post and here I am about to start my chemo again tonight. 24 days ago I finished my 5 day high dose cycle. It went pretty well with the exception of some serious fatigue Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday of that week. After that pretty much back to norm. I am hoping for even better results this time. My next MRI is this Thursday and results on the following Monday. Julie or I will post the results of the MRI as soon as we can.

We are both still amazed at the outpouring of support we continue to receive. My family is so blessed and to hear that so many of you are still praying for us daily is truly heart warming.  In His love, Jeff

I don’t even know where to begin. I can’t thank all of you enough for all of the hours you contributed to the fundraiser. It was a huge success and we had a great time seeing everyone there. Having that many people show up on their own time just to support my family was one of the most humbling experiences I’ve ever had. And to Sheri, you are amazing! I know you have been living and breathing this thing for months. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you (and Cas) for all your efforts. I know a lot of people helped and supported the event  in many different ways -thank you so much!

I am starting my new chemo cycle tonight. I will be taking a higher dose of chemo this time for 5 days (m-f) and then a 23 day break. This cycle will continue for years and MRIs will be done every two months. We will be praying this new chemo cycle will keep the cancer away and for clean MRI reults in the future. I will continue to update this site as we get test results.

I pray that God blesses you all in ways that only He can. Jeff
